Meet Dr. El-Banhawy

Dr. El-Banhawy completed the advanced education in general dentistry program at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. He then moved on to postgraduate training in Periodontology and Implant dentistry in addition to obtaining a Masters of Biomedical Science degree, also from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Dr. El-Banhawy is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant dentistry and a Fellow and Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He has lectured nationally and internationally on the topics of periodontal microsurgery and immediately loaded “same day” dental implants. Dr. El-Banhawy and his wife, who is also a dentist, live in West Bloomfield with their two boys, one girl, and rescue cat. When not taking care of his patients, he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
